This is my 3D model of a 1970 Buick GSX 455 Stage 1. Created for the Vehicle Project in my 3D for Games course at Ringling College of Art and Design. For the project, I was assigned to make a 1:1 scale model of a car of my choosing. Throughout the project, I learned much about the importance of having good topology, how to properly optimize models, best practices for making complex objects from references, and many other lessons that have greatly improved my skills as a 3D game artist. The car was modeled in Autodesk Maya, the textures made in both Photoshop and Substance 3D Painter, and was both lit and rendered in Unreal Engine 5.
